Saqqara Dahshur and Memphis: Day Tour

A Fascinating Journey Through Ancient Egypt

This tour was packed with history and was incredibly well-organized. The stop at Saqqara was mesmerizing, especially learning about how the Step Pyramid paved the way for all future pyramid constructions. Our guide was fantastic and gave us a lot of context that we wouldn’t have known otherwise. Dahshur was a peaceful stop – I loved that it wasn’t overcrowded like Giza, which made it a much more personal experience. The Red Pyramid was breathtaking, and we even got to go inside! Memphis, with its ancient ruins and colossal statues, was a great way to round off the tour. Overall, this day trip was an excellent way to explore Egypt beyond the main tourist spots, and I’m so glad we booked it!
